The Reasons Behind Demonization of the PMOI/MEk by Iran Regime's Apologists

The recent revelations of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran have gone a long way toward illustrating both the reasons for giving this designation to the Revolutionary Guards and the potential impact of doing so. Since then, the MEK has also used its intelligence gathering to highlight the ways in which further sanctioning the Guards could result in improved regional security, regardless of the specific impact on terrorist financing.

The signing into law of the new sanctions on Russia, North Korea and Iran and the impact of this legislation is already being felt, even before the commencement of practical measures which are on the way.

THE ONLY ORGANIZED OPPOSITION MEK AND REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN

That strike was widely viewed as a threatening gesture toward the US. And the MEK has helped to clarify the extent of the threat by identifying 42 separate missile sites scattered throughout Iran, including one that was working closely with the Iranian institution that had previously been tasked with weaponizing aspects of the Iranian nuclear program.

When confronted with the question of whether the Trump administration backs regime change in Iran, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Washington would work with Iranian opposition groups to reach “peaceful transition of that government.”

How Iran Fears MEK as Its Opposition

To this end, the MEK and NCRI represent the Iranian people’s true demand of regime change in Iran. Supporting this opposition is tantamount to standing alongside the Iranian people

The regime in Iran has come under immense domestic and international pressure recently. Most vivid are the sweeping sanctions imposed by US Congress and signed into law by President Donald Trump. These developments are sparking an endless stream of reactions from Iran’s senior officials and various media outlets. Over 500 interviews, reports, posts, sessions, book introductions
and others events have been discussed in this regime’s official outlets,

IRGC BYPASS SANCTIONS THROUGH ROUHANI'S SMILE DIPLOMACY'

EU governments should notice that the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader, Khamenei, who has the ultimate say on all foreign and domestic issues, and the president, Hasan Rouhani, both agree on the IRGC’s strategic role for the theocracy’s survival and the need to boost and strengthen its abilities

This week marks the beginning of Hassan Rouhani’s second presidential term, which is vital for the existence of the ruling theocracy in Iran.In his inauguration speech, Rouhani described his plans to have high level relationships with world. However after the speech, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei called for standing against America. At first glance, there seems to be a significant conflict of priority,
but in reality this is just a political deception directed by these two clerics.

Tortured by 'Moderates'

When asked if they’d like to see America crush the Islamic Republic using bombs and tanks, all three immediately shook their heads and emphatically said no. Iranians can overthrow the theocracy from within, they insist—if the West ends the aid and comfort that allow it to hold onto power. “Definitely we have requests

Hassan Rouhani was sworn in for his second term as president of Iran on August 5, surrounded by fresh flowers, fervent followers, and around 500 foreign officials. Representatives of the United Kingdom, France, the United Nations, and the Vatican rubbed shoulders with the Syrian prime minister, Hezbollah second-in-command Naim Qassem, Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader and FBI Most Wanted Terrorists list member Ramadan Abdullah Shallah, and murderous Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe. The Westerners didn’t seem uncomfortable in such company; indeed, European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini was described as the star of the show after Iranian members of parliament elbowed through the crowd to take selfies with the diplomat.

KHAMENEI'S FEAR FOLLOWING RISE OF JUSTICE-SEEKING MOVEMENT FOR THE VICTIMS OF 1988 MASSACRE

The Iranian Resistance warns against new machinations and new conspiracies of the mullahs' crisis-ridden regime against the Iranian people and the Resistance, and calls on the French government and the French judiciary to be vigilant in staying firm in the face of these illegal acts and not to allow French judiciay to be once again instrumentalised by the religious fascism ruling Iran.

NEW IRAN SANCTIONS SUCCEED WHERE THE NUCLEAR DEAL FAILED

Paralyzing the IRGC and assuming a tougher stance against Iran's nefarious activities can ensure that regime change happens without the need for foreign military invasion and another violent conflict in the region.

by Amir Basiri
The unprecedented sanctions passed by House lawmakers last Tuesday and the Senate last Thursday are a milestone achievement in countering the Iranian regime's belligerence and fixing some of the key flaws contained in the nuclear deal hammered between Iran and world powers in 2015.

MEK/PMOI GAINS SUPPORT WHILE IRANIAN REGIME GETS WEAKER

It is imperative for the Iranian regime to be held accountable for the crimes against humanity it has committed, but it is even more imperative that Iran sees regime change soon. A democratic alternative, a viable alternative, exists – the MEK/PMOI.
by Poorang Novak
The justice-seeking movement that wants the Iranian regime to be punished for the horrific massacre of MEK/PMOI members is gaining momentum, just weeks after the opposition’s event in Paris.

Opinion: Couple US sanctions with Middle East expulsion of Iran

The event had a clear message: regime change in Iran is the only viable solution for both the people of Iran and the region’s nations. There’s no need for another foreign conflict. The people of Iran and their organized resistance have the will, power and means necessary to realize this change.

The Iranian regime is attempting to secure a corridor through Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, providing a supply route for its numerous terrorist proxies in the region.

New US Sanctions, Iran and Massacre of 30,000 Political Prisoners

Marking the 29th anniversary of this horrific purge, the time has come to hold the mullah’s regime accountable for crimes against humanity.
Adoption of a bill by both chambers of the US Congress, imposing new sanctions on Iran, has terrified the Iranian regime. The sanctions includes Iran’s ballistic missile program, terrorism, and violation of Human Rights.

IRAN'S FEAR OF REGIME CHANGE BY IRANIAN PEOPLE AND THEIR RESISTANCE (PMOI/MEK)

The MEK remains a strong and cohesive organization, with a broad reach both worldwide and deep within Iran. MEK is the leading voice for democracy in Iran, supported by its interpretation of Islam that discredits the fundamentalist mullahs’ regime.
Lethal international, economic and social crises that has plunged the Iranian regime into the dilemma it is currently facing on one hand, and the expanding support for the Iranian opposition MEK that can realize regime change in Iran on the other, have all injected utter fear amongst Tehran’s mullahs.

Why Iran Apologists Demonize the MEK?

The adoption of the bill by the US House of Representatives, imposing new sanctions on the regime for violating human rights and pursuing ballistic missiles, and designating the IRGC as a terrorist entity is an essential step in rectifying the damaging policy of appeasement that needs to be completed by other measures including the eviction of the IRGC and its affiliated militia particularly from Syria and Iraq as well as the recognition of the Iranian people’s right to overthrow the clerical regime.
The U.S. Senate voted almost unanimously on Thursday to pass new sanctions on Russia, North Korea, and Iran.

The officials of  Iranian regime are already afraid of the consequences of the new sanctions. In addition to economic implications of the sanctions, what worries them the most is the actions against the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization. Designating and imposing sanctions on the IRGC was long overdue because the IRGC serves as the guarantee to preserve the entirety of the regime ruling Iran and is the main entity responsible for domestic suppression, the export of terrorism and extremism, and obtaining weapons of mass destruction such as nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.

Iran, MEK and Regime Change Policy

Indeed, regime lobbyists will be out in force this month but the MEK has the Iranian people and those who champion for human rights on their side.

Since the major gathering of the Iranian opposition, MEK in Paris on July 1, the issue of necessity of regime change in Iran has gained traction.

“The only solution to free the people of Iran and establish peace and tranquility in the region, is the overthrow of the Iranian regime,” declared Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, in the major gathering of Iranians in Paris on July 1. She reiterated, “The regime’s overthrow is possible and within reach, and a democratic alternative and organized resistance MEK exists that can topple it.”

LEADING OFFICIALS OF IRANIAN REGIME ADMIT THE MASSACRE OF MEK MEMBERS

Iranian regime massacred over 30,000 political prisoners in summer of 1988, and kept silent about this atrocity for three decades. Most of the victims were members and supports of the main opposition group the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). This year in the presidential election as conservative cleric Ebrahim Raisie, one of the perpetrators of the massacre, was selected as one of the main candidates, the issue surfaced, forcing regime officials, one after another, to confess about the carnage.

MEK'S POPULARITY AMONG IRANIAN YOUTH, REGIME'S NIGHTMARE

So long as the Iranian regime keeps trying to place a tight lid on the simmering pressure for change by the Iranian people, the harder it will be to prevent the inevitable.

CONTRARY TO IRAN LOBBY CLAIMS, REGIME CHANGE DOES NOT END IN WAR
One of the great falsehoods of the Iran lobby and the appeasers of the clerical regime in Tehran is that any effort at regime change would inevitably lead to war. This by-line can be seen in every article by the Iran lobby and the appeasers attempting to underscore the growing global support for the Iranian opposition (MEK/PMOI) and the Iranian people’s quest for regime change.

MEK/PMOI Popularity Threat to Iranian Regime's Existance

The MEK remains a strong and cohesive organization, with a broad reach both worldwide and deep within Iran. MEK is the leading voice for democracy in Iran, supported by its interpretation of Islam that discredits the fundamentalist mullahs’ regime.

For many associated with the Iranian lobby and appeasers of the clerical regime in Tehran, the best way to prop up the regime is to discredit any alternative options presented to the international community. In addition, the lobby and appeasers continue to stress that regime change will lead to war. As an example, they point to the struggles of the Iraq government since the removal of Saddam by the U.S. and its allies.

IRAN SANCTIONS BILL IS ON THE WAY TO PASSAGE: WHAT'S NEXT?

Similarly significant is the fact that Bolton is a longstanding supporter of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, and a regular attendee of the summer rallies, which take place annually. The latest such rally conveyed clear recommendations for what can be done following the imposition of comprehensive, terrorism-related sanctions on the IRGC. Not only that, but the NCRI’s overall platform puts US strategy into the context of a defined goal that has recently been hinted at by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and other Trump administration officials, namely the promotion of domestic Iranian forces that would exploit the weakness of sanctions-damaged institutions in order to facilitate a peaceful transition to democratic governance.

Imposing New Sanctions on Iran's Clerical Regime and Designating the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) as Terrorist Entity, Constitutes an Essential Step in the Right Direction That Needs to Be Completed by Other Measures

Any transaction or dealing by U.S. persons is prohibited, including making or receiving of any contribution of funds, goods, or services to or for the benefit of individuals or entities designated under the Order.
Resistance welcomes the adoption of a bill by the US House of Representatives, imposing new sanctions on the clerical regime for violating human rights and pursuing ballistic missiles, and designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist entity. This is an essential step in rectifying the damaging policy of appeasement that needs to be completed by other measures including the eviction of the IRGC and its affiliated militia particularly from Syria and Iraq as well as the recognition of the Iranian people’s right to overthrow the clerical regime.

New US Sanctions Blacklist Iran's IRGC

As these measures place the IRGC under secondary banking sanctions, practically no financial institution will be permitted to provide direct and/or indirect banking services to IRGC-linked individuals and entities. No foreign bank will cooperate with any Iranian entity that is in any way related to the IRGC and/or its affiliated entities.
The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill Tuesday placing new sanctions on Iran, North Korea and Russia. This follows a similar version adopted overwhelmingly by the Senate in a 98-2 vote last month.

THOSE WHO MASSACRED PMOI MEMBERS SHOULD BE REWARDED, SENIOR IRANIAN OFFICIAL SAYS

These horrific remarks are only a tip of the iceberg of an intense chorus launched by the regime's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to justify the 1988 massacre, especially after his failure in engineering the recent presidential election and attempting to have his favored candidate, mullah Ebrahim Raisi, known for his direct role in the 1988 massacre, replace the incumbent Hassan Rouhani.
Ahmad Khatami, a board member of the Iranian regime’s Assembly of Experts, used the Tehran Friday prayers sermon to express his anger over the ever-increasing scope of the justice movement related to the 1988 massacre. He called for the perpetrators of the atrocity of executing over 30,000 political prisoners to be awarded medals.“Then we see some people who on their websites switch the place of martyrs and murderers.

Iran’s Most Feared Mullah Acknowledges Massacre of Political Prisoners

In a report in 2009, Amnesty called on “Iranian authorities to immediately stop the destruction of hundreds of individual and mass, unmarked graves in Khavaran, south Tehran, to ensure that the site is preserved and to initiate a forensic investigation at the site as part of a long-overdue, thorough, independent and impartial investigation into mass executions which began in 1988, often referred to in Iran as the ‘prison massacres’. The organization fears that these actions of the Iranian authorities are aimed at destroying evidence of human rights violations and depriving the families of the victims of the 1988 killings of their right to truth, justice and reparation.”

Iran massacred over 30,000 political prisoners in summer of 1988 and kept a lid on this atrocity for three decades. In this year’s presidential election a conservative cleric by the name of Ebrahim Raisi, one of the perpetrators of the massacre, was selected as a main candidate, resurfacing the 1988 massacre and forcing regime officials, one after another, to confess about the carnage.

The Right Solution For Iran Is Not War

The Iranian people and their organized opposition, the NCRI, are more than capable of toppling the mullahs’ regime in Tehran. This organization has everything in place and seek only the international community to recognize their struggle and end the disastrous Iran appeasement approach. A course correction vis-a-vis Iran policy regarding is needed, too, in order for the people of Iran and their opposition to take on the rest

Welcoming Sanctions Imposed on Entities and Individuals Affiliated With the Clerical Regime

The economic growth of the country is negative or very low, unemployment of young people, especially educated people, is close to zero as hour bombs, the country's economy suffers from a severe recession, and factories run low and largely non-economic. The rank of the business is inappropriate, the class gap is intensified and the distribution of income is unequal and the bomb is approaching zero.
The Iranian resistance welcomes the designation of 18 entities and individuals affiliated with the Iranian regime for their role in exporting terrorism and in the drive to proliferate ballistic missiles. The sanctions are a necessary measure in confronting the mullahs’ dictatorship as the main source of regional crises and instability. Today’s actions need to be complemented by designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist entity and its expulsion from the Middle East region.

Why the Iranian regime is incapable of reforming from within

In my opinion, this regime is not changeable and the containment policy is an impediment to a strong policy of decisiveness.

The unprecedented strength of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Paris and Albania has severely alarmed the Iranian regime. It has also raised a pertinent question, can the Iranian regime be reformed within?
The signs so far are not encouraging. Tehran sent its foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, to Paris to prevent the annual gathering of opposition figures. As French officials found the regime’s position very weak, they ended up signing a contract for the benefit of the French oil giant Total.

A democratic alternative to the Iranian regime – 'Free Iran' rally highlights MEK's role in Iranian resistance

Would concessions ever change D behavior of this regime? NO. Because this is repeatedly tested by the US & EU
is it possible 2 contain this regime? NO, the containment policy only obstructs a firm policy against the regime.
the conclusion is what Iran Opposition emphasized since outset: solution & the only solution is regime change Iran

Don't whitewash the Iranian regime's crimes

The regime's fears for the thirty-fifth session of the United Nations Human Rights Council at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, June 6 to June 23, for three weeks, have led the regime to take steps to laugh the cooked chicken, five non-governmental organizations with a United Nations advisory role. Under the title "Massacre of Political Prisoners in Iran in 1988, a crime against humanity", which was issued by the Secretariat of the Human Rights Council as the official document of the Summit. But the Iranian people will not forget these crimes, and this regime The trial will take place
Last week, the Iranian regime took the ambassadors of 45 foreign countries for a tour of the notorious Evin prison in Tehran to judge for themselves how the state treats prisoners. The tour came one day after Javad Larijani, the head of the Iranian regime's so-called "Human Rights Organization," claimed there are no political prisoners in Iran.

Iran regime change is in the making

15 years ago, the leader of the National Council of Resistance Massoud Rajavi said that if Ashraf stands, the world will stand. And Ashraf with a handful of hands and wounds stood up without the support of any government and surprised the world. Now, after giving that heavy price, the nature of the mullahs, which is terrorism, has become apparent to everyone. And the world stands against this regime
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson stressed in a recent Congressional hearing that the U.S. should literally “work towards the support of those elements inside Iran that would lead to a peaceful transition of that government,” signaling the overhaul needed in Washington’s Iran policy.
